Gospel Mission Assemblies host Annual Beleiver's Conference
Hundreds of believers from different parts of Dominica converged on the Arawak House of Culture on Sunday April 16 2006 for the Annual Believers Conference organized by the Gospel Mission Assemblies of Dominica. The service, which was carried live by the national radio station and the Voice of Life radio, featured some anointed worship, special ministry and a challenging sermon from Superintendent Matthew George.
Highlights of the three-day event which began with a Youth Rally on Friday April 14, was the launching of a book entitled "Church Leadership" written by Superintendent George and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Gospel Mission Assemblies of Dominica and the Jamaica Evangelistic Association aimed at fostering closer affiliation and mutual cooperation between the two denominations.
The Conference ended on Monday April 17 with a presentation on Bible Study methods by a representative from Community Bible Study International headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
