AT least 11 policemen were killed in an apparent suicide bombing late last night targetting officers deployed at a rally by Islamist hardliners near Pakistan's Red Mosque. Thousands of protesters had called for the public hanging of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf at the Islamabad rally to mark the first anniversary of the siege and storming of the mosque, in which over a hundred people were killed.
